(a) 擔任資優教育組的主管，根據課程發展議會訂定的資優教育方針，及/或政府政策，督導及執行財務管理和行政職務； (b) 倡議、策劃和籌辦有關資優教育的師資培訓課程和製作學與教資源； (c) 促進香港資優教育學苑的持續發展； (d) 支援資優教育諮詢委員會的專業討論，並跟進「資優教育基金」的有效運用； (e) 安排本地比賽和香港代表團參加國家/國際比賽，以識別和發展學生潛能；為學生、家長、教師及學校建立有效的網絡； (f) 就香港資優教育及相關事宜，為課程發展處轄下的相關組別、教育局轄下的相關分部、其他政府部門、專上學院和相關機構，提供意見及與之協作，包括參與有關資優教育的部門/跨部門/非政府委員會及/或工作小組；以及 (g) 執行被委派的其他職務。(a) To carry out supervisory, financial management and administrative duties as Head of the Gifted Education (GE) Section according to the direction of GE laid down by the Curriculum Development Council and/or government policy; (b) To initiate, plan and organise teacher professional development programmes and develop resource packages on GE; (c) To facilitate the ongoing development of the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE); (d) To support the professional deliberations of the Advisory Committee on Gifted Education and follow up the effective deployment of the GE Fund; (e) To identify and stretch special talents of students through arranging local competitions and Hong Kong delegations to national/ international competitions; and to set up effective networks for students, parents, teachers and schools; (f) To advise and collaborate with relevant sections in the Curriculum Development Institute, divisions in the Education Bureau, other government departments, post-secondary institutions and organisations on matters related to GE in Hong Kong, including serving on departmental/interdepartmental/non-government committees and/or working groups related to GE; and (g) To perform any other duties as assigned.

Entry Requirements
(a) 持有香港所頒授的學士學位，或具備同等學歷[參閱註(ii)]； (b) 持有香港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書，或具備同等學歷[參閱註(ii)]； (c) 符合語文能力要求，即在綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷中取得｢二級」成績，或具備同等成績；申請人若在綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷中也取得｢二級」成績，或具備同等成績，可獲優先考慮[參閱註(iii)]； (d) 在取得上述(a)及(b)的學歷後，具備不少於12年推廣及帶領資優教育，例如有關資優教育的教學/ 研究發展/ 課程發展的經驗；具備在公共機構執行財務管理及/或行政職務經驗者優先[參閱註(iv)]；以及 (e) 持有香港所頒授與資優教育組的工作相關的學科的碩士或博士學位，或具備同等學歷者優先[參閱註(ii)]。(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [See Note (ii)]; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [See Note (ii)]; (c) Met the language proficiency requirement of 'Level 2' result in the Use of English (UE) paper in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent; Preference will be given to candidates who also attain 'Level 2' result in the Use of Chinese (UC) paper in the CRE, or equivalent [See Note (iii)]; (d) At least 12 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) and (b)] experience in promoting and leading Gifted Education (GE), such as teaching/research and development/ curriculum development related to GE; preference will be given to candidates with experience of financial management and/or administrative duties in a public organisation [See Note (iv)]; and (e) Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Hong Kong higher degree (e.g. a second/higher degree) in a discipline relevant to the work of the GE Section, or equivalent [See Note (ii)].
Entry Requirements (Note)
(i) 首席課程主任(資優教育)職位的申請日期為2020年11月6日(星期五)至2020年11月20日(星期五)。 (ii) 申請人須在申請表上清楚註明所修讀學位課程的主修和副修科目。申請人如有其他學歷(例如有關科目的碩士或博士學位)，亦須一併在申請表上列明。 (iii) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) English Language科「C」級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日有效。 (iv) 申請人須述明於取得有關學歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。 (v) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，教育局會測試所有應徵課程主任職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。 (vi) 申請人須處事盡責、積極主動、對工作有熱誠，並須品格良好，願意為教育界服務，作出承擔，以及能以中英文與人有效溝通。
