Assistant Project Management Officer (EDB/CSD/168/25)

Duties
(a)To provide administrative and logistical support for Professional Development Programmes (PDPs) and Education Bureau Training Calendar System;
(b)To maintain training records and compile monthly statistics and reports to facilitate monitoring and planning of PDPs;
(c)To assist in preparing programme specifications, observing events and liaising with course providers regarding commissioned courses;
(d)To perform administrative duties for parent education and handle enquiries from teachers, parents and the public;
(e)To assist in planning and organizing events (e.g., expositions, ceremonies, briefing sessions and seminars); and
(f)To support new initiatives and perform other related duties as assigned.
Salary
$33,382 per month
Entry Requirements
(a)A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [see Note (i)];
(b)Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 [see Note (ii)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(c)At least 2 years' post-degree full-time working experience. Working experience in liaising, project management and event organizing preferred;
(d)Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese;
(e)Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(f)Proficient in common computer applications, such as word-processing, Chinese input method, spreadsheet and presentation software.
Entry Requirements (Note)
(i) For general awareness, a locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are
other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, for the purpose of this recruitment exercise, only bachelor's degree is acceptable. Further information on HKQF may be accessed on HKQF's website (https://www.hkqf.gov.hk) or by phone (3793 3955).
(ii) For appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 2 years.
