Duties

(1) To support the management of Community Centre(s)/Community Hall(s), including monitoring security, maintenance and cleaning works, handling check-ins and check-outs of the venue or facilities, assisting users in using facilities or equipment provided by the Centre/Hall;
(2) To assist in handling applications;
(3) To answer public enquiries;
(4) To assist in the management of temporary shelters; and
(5) Any other suitable duties assigned by the office.

Salary

$56.2 per hour

Entry Requirements

(1) Obtained education level at Primary 6 or above, or equivalent;
(2) Have basic knowledge on common computer application and using the Internet; and
(3) Be capable of writing Chinese and speaking fluent Cantonese.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on part-time basis, work on shift within the opening hours of the Community Centre/Community Hall (including Monday to Sunday and public holiday).

General Notes

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to further shortlisting. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. (2) Applications which are incomplete or submitted in person, by post, by fax or by e-mail will not be accepted.
(3) Applicants must submit the photocopies of all supporting documents including the academic result/certificates and employment proofs (e.g. employment certificates, reference letters, etc.) to the enquiry address below by post or in person on or before the closing date for application. For submission by post, the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application. To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this
Department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage. (4) Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation (by email or by post) in about six to eight weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
